This is wonderful news! Ms. Brewer is a treasure and the Saint Louis area is fortunate to claim her as a jewel in it’s crown! Now how can we get Joe Edwards on board, to get her a star on the Saint Louis Walk of Fame?!?!

After following Ms. Brewer’s career for some time, it is so good to see Mayor Slay and St. Louis honor this amazing and unique talent with “Christine Brewer Day.” Her new CD is a brilliant collection of pieces that show her rich, velvety and dynamic voice in a wonderful, listenable format. We look forward to Ms. Brewer’s debut at the New York Metropolitan Opera next spring. How lucky are we, that she is so generous with her time and talent, helping voice students, performing at benefits and bringing her beautiful voice to St. Louis audiences.
