Orlando Hudson … enjoying it all

By far the funnest interview I had today was with Dodgers second baseman Orlando Hudson. His excitement and enthusiasm about being here are obvious. As the journalists streamed by, sometimes in clusters and sometimes just one-on-one, Hudson greeted them all with the same big smile and outspoken (in a good way) style. I don’t know what goes on behind the closed doors of their clubhouse, but I bet he provides a lot of energy to that Dodgers team. And he’s putting up numbers (48 RBIs from the 2B position is exceptional) that make him invaluable on the field, too. It just struck me today that here’s a guy that is truly relishing being in this All-Star Game, which is the second of his career.
