Pujols named NL Player of Month for June
CINCINNATI _ St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols, after one of the most productive months of his career, has been named the National League’s Player of the Month for June, in voting done by media members.
Pujols hit a modest (for him) .320 in June but he tied his personal best of 14 home runs in the month and established a personal best of 35 runs batted in for the month.
He had three multi-homer games in June, giving him 30 for his career, and hit the ninth grand slam of his career, tying Stan Musial for first among Cardinals players. Pujols also reached the 30-homer plateau for the ninth season in a row. He has played just nine seasons in the majors.
Pujols will receive a 52-inch, high-definition television for winning the award.

Congrats Albert! But if you don’t want that TV I would be glad to take it from you… C Dunc needs AAA time
