Cardinals continue rotating lineup, resting, prepping for Oct.
ST. LOUIS — Milwaukee Brewers starter Carlos Villanueva may be a righthander, but he’ll face a lineup that looks a lot like one built to face a lefty this afternoon. The St. Louis Cardinals and manager Tony La Russa continue to cycle through their options — getting guys rest (like Yadier Molina today) and mental breaks (like Mark DeRosa on Friday) — as they prep for the postseason.
The lineups for this, the final Saturday home game of the regular season.
Aside: It’s Buddy Walk Day here at Busch Stadium, and you know what that means for No. 5.

why the f is ankiel still getting playing time?
These games don’t mean much, but it would have been good to what Craig could do against big league pitchers instead of having Ankiel go out and flail away like a ceiling fan swinging at bad pitches.
