K-Rod to take a bite out of Big Apple?

According to ESPN.com, free agent closer Francisco Rodriguez has met with Mets GM Omar Minaya to discuss a potential move to the Big Apple. The Mets are looking for a closer because Billy Wagner is likely to miss next season following elbow surgery. K-Rod set a major league record with 62 saves. I’m sure Cards fans would prefer K-Rod just stay in the American League.

Meanwhile, the Yankees continue their pursuit of starting pitcher CC Sabathia.
