The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s got a fantastic deal going for the coldest months with the return of the Winter Pass: For $99, you can get one ticket to any or all of the 10 concerts the SLSO will perform in January and February.

That includes some of the most attractive programs this season: the Verdi Requiem (with soprano Christine Brewer), “Opera Night” with Opera Theatre of St. Louis favorite Kelly Kaduce, famed mezzo-soprano Susan Graham and popular symphonies by Brahms and Saint-Saens. Call 314-534-1700 or visit www.slso.org.

David Robertson is fabulous and a big draw. He’s energetic, charismatic and an extremely talented conductor. He does an especially wonderful job with broad romantic pieces. We took some friends from California to the SLSO this fall and they were stunned at the high quality of the performance.
