The Contemporary Art Museum has announced its fall exhibition. “For the blind man in the dark room looking for the black cat that isn’t there” will open Sept. 11 and run through Jan. 3.

Organized by Contemporary chief curator Anthony Huberman, the exhibition, according to the Contemporary,“ explores the speculative nature of knowledge and insists on the importance of curiosity and the things we don’t understand.” Artists featured include Marcel Broodthaers, Hans-Peter Feldmann, Fischli & Weiss, Rachel Harrison, Giorgio Morandi, Matt Mullican, Frances Stark and Rosemarie Trockel, among others. The exhibition will be accompanied by a catalog and will travel to Detroit, London, Amsterdam and Lisbon.
