Jon Garrett debuts with the Rams at the Edward Jones Dome.
To judge by the comments on yesterday’s blog post about sweet-voiced tenor Jon Garrett of the St. Louis Chamber Chorus and Union Avenue Opera, he’s got a big fan base. That should bode well for his future career, and the success of the album on which he’s currently working.
A football fan with an excellent ear for music captured this picture of Garrett singing the National Anthem before the start of the Governor’s Cup game between the St. Louis Rams and the Kansas City Chiefs. The source reports that Garrett did a great job throughout, and was particularly memorable at the anthem’s end: It’s not just the high note that counts, it’s the strong finish to a difficult tune.
Great Job, Jon. You should be so proud of your accomplishments.
