SLSO: Carnegie past, Star Wars coming up
The members of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra are home from this season’s Carnegie Hall adventure; communications director Adam Crane reports that the pilot of the plane on which his SLSO contingent flew greeted the players, and offered congratulations on a successful concert.

Meanwhile, there are two performances of “The Movie Music of John Williams” coming up at Powell Symphony Hall on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. They’ll feature the 70th Explorers Garrison as greeters; to promote the concerts, certified Star Wars bad chaps invaded Channel 11’s studios.
