SLSO: SRO for Saturday night’s John Williams fest

Saturday night’s concert of “The Movie Music of John Williams” by music director David Robertson and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra is sold out, reports director of communications Adam Crane. There are still some tickets left for Sunday afternoon’s performance, “but not many.”
The performances will have a platoon of Star Wars storm troopers on hand as “greeters.” They’re also notable for a small career milestone: They mark the first time that assistant concertmaster Erin Schreiber will act as concertmaster with Robertson on the podium.
