Six days and seven shows a week, actor Kevin Orton swaggers through the production of “Saint Joan” at the Repertory Theater of St. Louis, portraying Joan’s dashing ally Dunois, the Bastard of Orleans. But at 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 19 - Monday is the traditional actors’ day off - he’ll be on stage at The RoadHouse, with his wife, Suzanne, who’s joining him from their home in New York. They’ll entertain with some of his new material as well as old favorites.

Orton’s musical gifts won’t surprise anyone who remembers his performance as Feste, the blue-jeans-clad, guitar-playing jester in the Rep’s production of “Twelfth Night” a few years ago. His treatment of “Hey ho, the wind and the rain” - which he wrote himself - was absolutely gorgeous, though not at all traditional. The RoadHouse, 34 South Old Orchard, is near the theater.
