Dance Festival Showcase this weekend

If you’re into dance, a festival this weekend devoted to local companies should be just what you’re looking for.
St. Louis Ballet, MADCO, Dances of India, Atrek Dance Collective and the Slaughter Project are among the ensembles scheduled to perform in the 10th annual Dance Festival Showcase. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 8 p.m. Sunday at the Edison Theatre. There’ll be a different program each night.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. The Edison is in the Mallinckrodt Center on the Washington University campus, 6445 Forsyth Boulevard. For more information, call 314-534-1111 or 314-997-0911.
