Capital Art in McCaskill’s and Bond’s offices
WASHINGTON–Can’t make it to Washington to visit your U.S. senators? Well, you can at least check out their offices, which are mini-art galleries featuring Missouri works.
The artwork in Claire McCaskill’s Senate office is modern, loud, and splashy, featuring up-and-coming St. Louis painters. Sen. Christopher “Kit” Bond’s walls are decorated with more formal and stately pieces by well-known Missourians.
Click here to take a video tour and listen to the two lawmakers talk about how the works on display reflect their personal tastes and inspire their political outlook.
