Hillary for VP petitions floating: Should they be?

WASHINGTON _ Was she forced to endure “terrible treatment” running for the Democratic nomination, and should that be a factor in Barack Obama’s decision whether to choose her for a running mate?

Hillary Clinton’s poor treatment is a contention of the Women for Fair Politics web site, which has posted a request by long-time Clinton lawyer Lanny Davis asking her supporters whether she deserves the vice-presidential slot on the Democrats’ November ballot – or whether she should battle all the way to the Democratic convention in Denver.

“Each one of us will have to make the painful decision accepting Senator Obama’s nomination or asking Hillary to fight on to the convention!” the posting says.

Clinton’s defiant speech last night in which she declined to acknowledge that Obama had achieved enough delegate support for the nomination has rubbed a lot of Obama folks the wrong way.

Do Democrats owe Clinton the VP nomination?

Is this Democratic competition really over?

Why doesn’t Clinton do something about Lanny — he continues to alienate her supporters with his obnoxious behavior!

How’s this for a radical concept, give both candidates a breather over the next week or so. After this allow them to speak amongst themselves what they are hoping for, then decide what will allow for the Democratic Party to win in November.

The point of feminism is to ensure equal treatment and opportunities for both genders. This means that both democratic candidates should have the opportunity to run in the primary race, and Obama and Hillary had those opportunities. I think it would be sexist to bend over backwards for Hillary now, or to give her the VP spot, just because she’s a woman.

If our Country has any chance of saving face with the rest of the world and saving our own economy, we have to make a drastic change. I am a retired disabled veteran, who happends to be a Republician. However, I was going to vote for Hilliary. Now I have a relatively easy, or I should say a “no-brainer” decision to make. I have to vote for Obama and if he really wants to carry those working man states like Ohio, BTW, I live in Dayton, he will ask Hilliary to be his VP for the Dream ticket. I just hope my grandchildren will have a safe country to grow up.

Hooray. Finally.
Do Democrats owe Clinto the VP nomination?
Heck no. She would be a terrible choice for VP — she would constantly be trying to take the spotlight away from Obama. Too much drama. Three great choices — McCaskill, Sebelius, Richardson, in no particular order.

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton will endorse Senator Barack Obama on Friday, bringing a close to her campaign for the White House, aides said. Her decision came after Democrats urged her Wednesday to leave the race and allow the party to coalesce around Mr. Obama.
