Web Watch: Is this still a primary?

Sen. Hillary Clinton announced three TV ad buys today — two in Kentucky and one in Oregon. They’re all very positive bits (posted below): upbeat music, no mention of her opponent, meant to appeal to the working class voter.

And from Sen. Barack Obama? E-mails about superdelegates and math. Oh and criticism of President Bush for his statements before Isreali lawmakers.

Hmmmm, let’s consider: Big expensive ad buys when your campaign debt is estimated at $20 million vs. e-mails and barbs at someone other than your opponent?

They’re really not in the same race anymore, are they?

Other than that, the Internet’s series of tubes seem mostly quiet on politics. YouTube and the blogosphere appear more interested in Jessica Alba and video games at the moment.

Again, a couple of Clinton’s latest ads are below. So is a clip that Obama could easily turn into a national TV spot.
