BASEBALL GLASS: Steuben Glass, the premier American hand-blown glassmaker, has produced a baseball collection for the All-Star game in St. Louis on July 14. After the game, a Steuben rep will present the All-Star Game MVP with a 34″ (regulation size) glass baseball bat that retails for a whopping $9,500.

The collection is being carried here exclusively by Neiman Marcus at Plaza Frontenac. The glassmaker and Major League Baseball teamed up to create the series of crystal baseball collectibles. Each piece in the line can be customized with any of the 30 MLB team logos.

This collection marks Steuben’s first entry into the world of major league sports. Highlights include a crystal replica of a Major League Baseball bat in the regulation size, 18″ and 14″ versions; crystal baseballs; and crystal home plates. Other team collectibles include barware, tabletop décor and ornaments.
