Paris Hilton, of course. She’s here to promote her latest scent, Can Can, one of four in a collection of fragrances. She’ll be here at Macy’s South County for a public appearance beginning at 1 p.m. The much-maligned socialite continues to hold her head high and to hold our attention.

But since Paris Hilton is actually markets herself as a brand is anything really off-limits. First 300 folks to make a purchase of her signature fragrances will receive autographed photos and get to meet her in person. I bet her hands are really soft and I’m anxious to hear about her new shoe collection. We share the same pain — size 11 feet.

If you don’t make it out to Macy’s later in the evening you’ll have to fight for a glimpse of her at Home nightclub in the Ameristar Casino in St. Charles. I’m not sure tickets are on sale, it could be an invite only affair. Needless to say the socialite party girl probably won’t be mixing and mingling much anyway. I do wonder where she’ll stay.
