Can buying a pair of these count as my New Year’s Resolution?
A wayward soul from Las Vegas, Nevada, who now calls St. Louis home and believes that fashion is relative and capricious, but style is always in favor. 
The answer is Beyonce. We just love, love it when she’s Classy with a capital “C” instead of a capital “K” type of Klassy that she’s known for when she dresses as Sasha Fierce, which is really just an excuse to be capital Trashy.
All that chessboard pattern has the potential to make your foot appear really huge - and that’s a look I just can’t get behind. I’m a 9.5 and invariably, I’ll fall in love with a darling shoe (always featured in the store display in a 6) only to cringe at how it looks in a 9.5 - like a freaking boat! So, my advice, before you make that New Year’s Resolution, try it on.
