“Slumdog Millionaire” kids shine on the Oscars’ red carpet
OK, seeing this lovely bunch of cuties is delightful, not just for the fact that they are stressing out the red carpet pundits who have to pronounce their names, but it’s been a while since this many kids have been part of a top film.
And did we mention how cute they are decked out in Brooks Brothers. The company has been trying to stress its youth, but who knew they’d go this far.
Here’s the rundown, just in case you are uber-curious. Looks like the big boys could learn a thing or two from these actors and dressers.
Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail (youngest Salim): a Brooks Brothers boy’s tuxedo-notch lapel, 1-button jacket with wing collar tuxedo shirt and black bowtie.
Ayush Mahesh Khedekar (youngest Jamal): a Brooks Brothers boy’s tuxedo-notch lapel, 1-button jacket with wing collar tuxedo shirt and black bowtie.
Ashutosh Lobo Gajiwala (middle Salim): a Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers tuxedo-notch lapel, 1-button jacket, trouser with grosgrain stripe, pleated Oxford button down tuxedo shirt and black tie. Finishing the look is a pair of patent lace-up tuxedo shoes.
Tanay Chheda (Middle Jamal): a Brooks Brothers boy’s tuxedo - notch lapel, 1-button tuxedo jacket with wing collar shirt, bow tie and black cordovan penny loafers.
Madhur Mittal (adult Salim): a Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers 1-button notch lapel twill tuxedo with silk collar, herringbone cotton tuxedo shirt, black herringbone wool long tie and patent leather lace-up shoes.

A wayward soul from Las Vegas, Nevada, who now calls St. Louis home and believes that fashion is relative and capricious, but style is always in favor.
Enjoy the picture! They will be back in the slum by the end of next week…
Hahahahahaha,
That’s a good one Tim, for being “civil”. Come on, don’t let envy prevent you from being an adult.
Anyways, that’s good that these talented kids had a chance to be on the red carpet. It looks like they’re having fun. Good job with the movie. Here’s to wishing them success.
