Did Susan Sarandon win or lose the coin toss?
St. Louis Post-Dispatch

OK, I’m sure they didn’t collaborate on who would wear which tux, but the ladies both look nice. Sometimes, you just don’t feel like wearing a gown and this isn’t a bad way to go, especially if you’re not afraid to rock the cleavage. I think Susan should have gone with a shorter bolder necklace or taken a cue from Catherine Keener and gone without.
And sadly, I’m disappointed in both their shoe choices. If you’re going to go with a conservative suit, there should be some gorgeous razzle dazzle below the ankles.

A wayward soul from Las Vegas, Nevada, who now calls St. Louis home and believes that fashion is relative and capricious, but style is always in favor.
I liked Susan’s choice, including her jewelry. She’s got a great balcony - why not show it off? I watched closely to see what the women “of a certain age” were wearing. Tonight, Susan Sarandon and Sigourney Weaver looked hot. I was just OK with Meryl Streep’s choice. Emma Thompson’s short frock did her no favors. Rita Wilson rocked her look but Glen Close just looked matronly. The biggest disappointment from my generation had to be Sting. What was up with his unfortunate facial hair, with the Just-For-Men mono-color treatment? Ugh!
Doesn’t he know about hygiene!
