We might be weeks away from the two-part finale beginning on Oct. 8, but in the meantime the show is fair game for rampant speculation. As far as I’m concerned, the race is between Leanne, the soft spoken and gentile designer who has a flare for girlish sophistication, and Kenley, the designer I love to hate for her brash out-sized personality but fairly consistent feminine glam designs. To be honest, I found Kenley the most annoying talented designer in the history of Project Runway. The key word in that sentence is talented — Keith will go down in my memory hall of shame for the most shameless display of ridiculousness (”Be gentle with me. I’m fragile right now.” Pul-leeze.) Anyway, www.zoozoom.com, one of the best online fashion magazines has a fun fashion contest going. It’s the internet equivalent of a walk-off. Two outfits are selected at random and you vote for the best one. The site keeps a running tab of designers that win the most face-offs or “fashion wars.” It’s good clean fun, no one gets hurt and no body cries on camera. By the way, Leanne and Korto seem to have the lead. But warning: Giving your opinion is highly addictive.
