The best of color on the great red way
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Black may have been among the most typical and prevalent shades on the red carpet, along with a surprising amount of white gowns. We’re thankful for those who dressed with an eye for daring hues. Julia Louis-Dreyfus wins kudos for the most unique color selection in a flattering peach, but Christina Hendricks of “Mad Men”, Mary- Louis Parker, Brooke Shields and Julie Benz of “Dexter,” shine in vibrant dresses that speak volumes. And each woman wisely paired the looks with minimal jewelry so that there’s no competition for the gown.
