Cameron Diaz another missed opportunity
Cameron Diaz has a history of unfortunate fashion choices. So this is no real surprise.
At this year’s Golden Globes there seemed to be a lot of unforunate draping attempts with fabric. It looks like one designer was trying hard to out-drape the other. And I feel silly for mentioning it, because I love seeing reinvention in fashion but do we really need to reinvent draping.
The mini bustle in the back of her dress looks like the way you would bunch drapes in a really stodgy home. And the dress is full of overwrought details, click to enlarge for full effect. There are tiny pleats and lines and buttons and a bow with a big rosette below.
And since you couldn’t see it in the first photo, there is the purse. If you click the photo you’ll see huge crystal droplets hanging from it. I’ll say no more.
A wayward soul from Las Vegas, Nevada, who now calls St. Louis home and believes that fashion is relative and capricious, but style is always in favor. 
I agree. There were a lot of really stupid looking bunchy dresses that looked like bedsheets or something!
I also don’t like the cool color of those shoes with that almost coral color she’s wearing. That’s just my opinion, though.
