“The Office” wedding stays cheap and honest
Many fans applauded the wedding of Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski) on NBC’s “The Office.” But many more will applaud the fact that they stayed true to the working class salaries of the fictional characters when the bride picked her special occasion frock.
Jenna Fischer might be able to afford Vera Wang, but Pam Beesly wore David’s Bridal.
Her Galina Collection A-line gown made of crinkle chiffon cost $399. See it up close and personal here.
And she was very considerate of her bridesmaid who only had to invest $145 in those silver dresses, which were kinda nice considering no one ever wears them again no matter what anybody says, also from David’s Bridal. Shop the look here.
And if you didn’t get a chance, you’ll want to catch “The Office” wedding dance down the aisle. It spoofed that zany, impressively energetic wedding party known for the JK Wedding Entrance Dance YouTube sensation. If you aren’t among the nearly 28 million people who have seen the original, do check it out now. Here’s the link to the YouTube video.

I love the office, that was one of the most charming t.v. weddings ever. I really like that the costume designers kept their dress choice consistent with the characters’ budgets.
