Apparently, the folks over at Home Nightclub at Ameristar in St. Charles are looking to make new friends and they think our capricious fashion souls can be bought for a pricey pair of denim.

Personally, I would have gone for just free drinks, but I’m not going to say anything. So Thursday’s the night for “The Designer Denim & Day to Night Delight” event. I’m not sure what that name means, but at least 45 lucky boys and girls will be walking out with some new designer denim britches.

You have to RSVP at denim@cheresseink.com for FREE admission. Otherwise, it will cost your $10.

Why are they giving away denim? Especially pairs hovering around the $200 range? Good question. Home wants to encourage a “new denim way of thinking,” for people who think they need to dress up to go out. Hmmm,  I didn’t know anyone had a problem with denim. You can’t seem to wrestle most of us out of the fabric, but again, I’m not complaining. I like free stuff.

Home has partnered with some St. Louis boutiques and a few from New York, namely Aleixandre Collections, Buffalo Jeans, Daisy Clover, Paige Denim, Susan Lynn’s and Elements of Denim, Essential Elements, who helped make this event possible. Designer denim with a 100 percent discount is very hot this season.

So you’re skeptical, I can sense it. What jeans will these folks be giving away? Well, you can expect to see the Citizens of Humanity Ava Straight Leg ($189, pictured above), Paige Premium Denim Hidden Hills ($189, pictured at right), Citizens of Humanity Hutton ($238), Paige Hidden Hills ($240), Citizens of Humanity Stevie ($216), Joe’s Jeans Wide Leg ($185) as well as denim from Fortune Denim, AG Jeans, James Jeans, J Brand and Buffalo Jeans.

Paige Denim is also sending  three of her book “Your Perfect Fit: What to Wear to Show Off Your Assets, What to Do to Tone Up Your Trouble Spots” autographed for give away. The book was written by Hollywood denim queen Paige Adams-Geller and her friendly fitness guru Ashley Borden. Something tells me that the winner of this item is really going to be a little peeved if it doesn’t come with a pair of fancy jeans.

ALSO: Attendee’s can bring in a new or slightly worn jeans to benefit Grace Hill, a charity which provides services through five community health centers serving low income and uninsured residents throughout St. Louis. Cash donations are also welcome, but not required.
