First red wine, now golf
Confession: I love vino. Golf? Not so much. I tried it once, and couldn’t even make contact between the driver and the ball on the tee. Nevertheless, I figured it was as healthful, if not more so, than red wine. Now comes proof.
A recent study from the Swedish medical university Karolinska Institutet found that “the death rate for golfers is 40 percent lower than for other people of the same sex, age and socioeconomic status. That corresponds to a five-year increase in life expectancy.”
Obviously, it’s time for golf lessons.
Question: Can you drink wine on a golf course?
