There are three confirmed cases of swine flu and 51 probable cases in Illinois, the state health department said today. All of the cases have come from northern Illinois counties.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta confirmed the lab test results. Missouri is still reporting two unconfirmed cases awaiting the CDC’s tests. The state tested 19 swabs yesterday from Missouri residents with flu symptoms and all were negative for swine flu.
