More good news: Coffee drinkers live longer
There are two beverages that I look forward to drinking each day: wine and coffee. I get cranky when denied them. My husband and I once spent two nights at the home of a couple in Kansas City. Nice nice people, but they didn’t drink coffee or booze. By day three, I was close to screaming: “Don’t you people have ANY vices!!!????” Instead, I asked them to take me to the nearest Dunkin Donuts drive-thru.
Well, good news for me. Turns out that, in moderation, both beverages have health benefits. We’ve heard for awhile that wine is good for the heart. Now, it seems, coffee-drinkers live longer and, among other things, a cup or two of Joe is actually good for the liver. Wooohoooo!
