Register for GO! St. Louis Marathon to get personalized bib
IF, you plan to participate in one of the GO! St. Louis Marathon events April 18, and IF you’d like some personalized attention from fans lining the route, then you best head over to the GO! website right now to register. That way you can get your name printed all nice and big on your bib.
This, I might add, can be a mixed blessing. Having people call your name during the race can be a real boost . . . when you’re feeling good and running. Sometimes, however, it can be annoying. For instance, if you find yourself walking the last six miles because you hit the wall at mile 20, and if at mile 25.5 you hear something like, “Come on, (INSERT YOUR NAME)! Don’t walk! Run!” come from a chubby bystander holding a cup of coffee . . . well, that can be annoying. So be warned.
