Poll: How old were your kids when they learned to swim

Obviously, you should never leave children unattended at a swimming pool — even those who swim well. But how old was your child when she could easily swim from one end of a pool to the other end? When did you feel you could leave them alone in the water for a few minutes? And, for our final poll question, when did they start taking swimming lessons?
