Having trouble finding Tamiflu to treat H1N1 in small kids?
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Pharmacists are reporting a shortage of the liquid form of Tamiflu, which is an anti-viral drug used to treat H1N1 and other flu viruses. The liquid form is helpful to younger and older people who have trouble swallowing pills.
Pharmacists are making the liquid by combining the contents of Tamiflu pills with a simple syrup, but insurance companies are balking at paying for the extra cost.

We are a society that wants a pill for everything. We believe that all doctors need to do is just give us a pill. Our body has an immune system that does nothing but fight disease - we need to give it a chance to work and feed it healthy foods to keep it working..
We all got H1N1 and only the adults were able to get Tamiflu. Result? One healthy 3-year-old in the hospital for 3 days.
