TV soccer alert
I got this from ESPN today, and for those of you have access to ESPN Classic, it might be worth a look:
Beginning today (Monday, May 26) through Thursday, June 5, ESPN Classic will air a condensed, one-hour version of a UEFA European Football Championship title match each weekday at 7 p.m. ET. The network will feature each of the last nine UEFA European Championships starting with the 1972 championships in Belgium – a 3-0 victory by West Germany over the USSR. The series will lead up to ESPN’s unprecedented, multi-media coverage of the 2008 championships (Euro 2008), scheduled to kick-off Saturday, June 7, with one of the two tournament host nations, Switzerland, facing the Czech Republic at 11:50 a.m. on ESPN Classic, ESPN Deportes and ESPN360.com.
