Parking at SLU for Athletica will be tight
For the fans who savored their experience parking at SIUE for the opener, parking at SLU for Saturday’s game with L.A. might be just as interesting.
Thomas & Friends, the children’s TV show, has a live show at Chaifetz Arena starting at 2:30 p.m., so there will be a lot of families with kids parking in the Olive & Compton lot that is closest to Hermann Stadium. In addition, SLU’s baseball and softball teams have home games on Saturday, and while they don’t draw big crowds, that will be more people in the parking lot.
With a decent crowd expected for Athletica, the team is suggesting parking in the lot off Grand on Laclede. It’s a slightly longer walk — I guess it could be conceivably closer depending on where you actually parked in each lot – but there should be more spaces available there. (And, I’m told, it’s cheaper.)
