Tancredi, Aluko, Woznuk start for Athletica.

Athletica coach Jorge Barcellos has decided to start Melissa Tancredi and Eniola Aluko at forward for tonight’s game, sitting Kerri Hanks, who started the first three games. Making her first start for Athletica will be Francielle, who’s in for Niki Cross, who had a rough go of it in the first half against Los Angeles, as she made her first start in place of Sara Larsson. The layout they show on matchtracker has Lori Chalupny at left back, with Aluko on the left flank and Angie Woznuk up top. I guess we’ll have to see on TV if that’s the way they’re actually deployed or if matchtracker just kind of lobs the names up there. I have to admit I haven’t compared what they’ve done for the first three games with reality.
