Honda finalists: Howard, Dempsey, Donovan
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
The three finalists for the Honda Player of the Year award, given to the top player on the U.S. national team, are Tim Howard, Clint Dempsey and perennial finalist Landon Donovan. (I voted for Howard, Dempsey and Oguchi Onyewu.) The winner will be announced Nov. 11. There’s no second round of voting; the organizers already know who the winner is and Howard, Dempsey and Donovan are the top three vote getters. Also, it’s worth noting that the final three U.S. World Cup qualifiers won’t matter, even though Howard, Dempsey and Donovan aren’t likely to play again after Saturday’s match against Cuba, which should send the U.S. through to the final round of qualifying.

It can’t be anyone, but Howard. He was hands down the best national team player. I love Dempsey and Fulham more than anyone should, but there is no contest for this award
Off Topic, Tom have you heard any news on the Expansion Bid? It is “deadline” time after all.
