Millionth Megabuser
Jackie Hutcherson
St. Louis Post-Dispatch

All in all, it’s a pretty cool way to get a free laptop.
Dana Bellers of St. Charles (above at left) was the millionth customer for Megabus.com. Bellers, 27, works for Wachovia Securities in St. Louis. The bus service with $1 fares gave Bellers a Dell notebook computer and two Chicago Double-Decker/Trolley Tour tickets during a cermony last week in Chicago.

Megabus.com began offering service to and from Chicago and eight other Midwest cities for as low as $1 dollar in April 2006.  Since the initial launch megabus.com has expanded to a total of 17 Midwest cities, seven West Coast cities and most recently eight East Coast cities.
