Past to Present Festival today in Harrisburg, Ill.
The annual Past to Present Festival gets underway at 9 a.m. today at the Saline County Fairgrounds on Route 34 North of Harrisburg in southeast Illinois.
Today’s activities include daylong entertainment, craft booths, a flea market, petting zoo, wagon rides, food of all kinds, heritage demonstrations and The Farm, for children 4 to 10.
The price is right, a buck a car load.
The festival continues tomorrow. The washer-pitching contest is at 2 p.m. Sunday, and costs $3 to enter.
Harrisburg is about a three-hour drive from St. Louis. Head east on Interstate 64 to Interstate 57, then south to Route 13 just north of Marion. Harrisburg is east on 13, about 20 miles.
