Wifey, a pal and I are going to visit a friend in Springfield MO (the home of cheap gasoline) for a thanksgiving with family and friends. Isn’t that what Turkey day is all about?
I wanted to take Amtrak, but it doesn’t go to Springfield MO. My friends are normally Republicans, but they were too smart to vote for a ticket that included Palin.

Your poll choice of staying home makes it sound like people who stay home are being crabby hermits, but really, someone has to host Thansgiving events! Also, many people are staying here with their family and friends–why do you assume that travelling away from here is the default? I

I’ll be staying in STL and smoking ribs and a turkey, probably coupled with multiple growlers of Schlafly beer.

The wife and I are living in Seoul, Korea. Sure miss all of you back home and hope you enjoy your families and the beautiful St. Louis area.
