Preview St. Louis Zoo’s 2009 travel program on Jan. 12
A free St. Louis Zoo travel preview will be held on Monday, January 12 at 7 p.m. in The Living World at the St. Louis Zoo. Travel itineraries will be available and experienced travelers will be on hand to answer questions.
The St. Louis Zoo Travel Program offers wildlife adventures all over the globe. From a cruise in the Galapagos Islands to safaris in Africa, the 2009 travel line-up includes trips to unique destinations to see wildlife and their breathtaking habitats. All trips will be escorted by a Zoo curator.
Book your spring break trip in South Texas along the Rio Grande Valley, the top birding destination in the United States for diversity of species. Observe over 130 species of wild birds, including roadrunner, chachalaca, neotropical cormorant and whooping crane. Feb. 28-March 6 trip
A South Africa Adventure through Botswana and Zambia wilderness camps offers a look at various species of wildlife and the opportunity to explore the stunning African landscape, while relaxing in luxury. May 21-June 3 trip
