GoodFoodNearYou is a free location-based search engine that helps travelers find the best food options at the most common restaurants near their location.
A search consists of plugging in a location by zip code or street address, and receiving around 20 of the closest restaurants to that location and the lowest calorie entree on the menu. Results can be sorted by closest distance and lowest carbs, calories or fat.
The menu at each restaurant also can be perused and sorted by carbs, calories or fat.
Typically, GoodFoodNearYou finds the restaurants where average people commonly eat, including casual dining, fast-food chains, grocery stores and convenience stores.
As the site develops, it plans to include more local favorites and independent restaurants, as well as specialty health restaurants.
