Liverpool Legends, the Beatles tribute band, will be performing at 7:30 p.m. this weekend, March 6 and 7, at Main Street Theater on Main Street Landing in Osage Beach, Mo.

The band is a mainstay at Branson, but will be making its first performance at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Liverpool Legends perform at the Starlite Theatre in Branson, where they have been voted Best New Show, Best Band and Best Show in Branson.

Louise Harrison, sister of the late George Harrison, personally selected the John, Paul, George and Ringo look-alikes.

Tickets are $20 an adult and $12 for children 12 or younger. They can be bought at the lake’s Convention and Visitors Bureau office at 5815 Highway 54, or by calling 1-800-386-5253.

Well, if Louise Harrison gives it her OK, then it must be worth seeing. I wonder how much money she gets out of them for letting them say that little factoid in their press releases…

I saw the Liverpool Legends in Branson. They were great. Louise came on stage during the intermission. She talked for a bit then answered questions. Did you know that Missouri is the first state any Beatle visited? George was coming to see his sister.
