TripAdvisor Introduces “Top Values” Travel Index
TripAdvisor, which offers online lodging reviews, has introduced a “Top Values” index to sort the most popular hotels around the world and find ones that are great values.
To identify excellent value hotels, TripAdvisor devised a system that analyzes the relationship between a hotel’s quality and price. The quality is determined by input from real travelers, as well as star ratings.
Top Values are on average $101 a night, or 31 percent less expensive than all hotels listed. The values are updated daily to reflect the most recent prices and quality ratings.
To access “Top Values,” visit TripAdvisor hotel listing pages and click the box beside “Show TripAdvisor Top Values first.”
In Chicago, for example, the site lists the InterContinental Chicago as a top value.

I couldn’t sleep until I let you know about a place that you absolutely must try!! You must try Homer’s in Sullivan Missouri! It’s been open for many years, a small place with awesome homemade barbeque and sides by Homer (Homer is in his 70’s). If a delicious high quality pork steak overflowing your plate with wonderful sides sounds good you’ll love Homers! You gotta try it. Just ask anyone in Sullivan where it is.
