American Airlines Introduces New Way to Use Frequent Flyer Miles

American Airlines has introduced One-Way Flex Awards, a new way to use AAdvantage miles.
Frequent flyers can use the program to book a one-way trip, a round trip or a multi-city trip. One-Way Flex Awards are offered at a mileage rate exactly half of the round-trip rate.
Flyers can use the One-Way Flex Award for first-class travel in one direction, and save miles by returning in economy class.
One-Way Flex Awards start at 12,500 miles for travel within the continental United States.
