The men’s room at Shoji Tabuchi Theatre in Branson is among the 10 finalists in a contest to find America’s Best Public Restroom.
The restroom at the theater feature marble fireplaces, a hand-carved mahogany pool table, antiques, lion’s head sinks, leather chairs, stained glass and chandeliers.
The contest was created by Cintas, a Cincinnti-based company that provides restroom supplies. The public is invited to view the bathrooms and vote online at bestrestroom.com. The winner will be announced in August.
The other nine finalists are the restrooms at Radio City Music Hall in New York, Canlis Restaurant in Seattle, the Tremont Plaza Hotel in Baltimore, the Tampa Theatre in Tampa, Fla., the Drake Hotel in Chicago, NOVA 535 in St. Petersburg, Fla., the Fox Theatre in Detroit, Macy’s Department Store in San Franciso and Zeffirino Ristorante at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas.
While the finalists are said to be quite unique, they have one thing in common: All are exceptionally clean.
The contest has been held since 2002, and winners are named to the America’s Best Restroom Hall of Fame.
