Historic Hotel in KC Gets a New Look
The Raphael, a boutique hotel across from Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, is marking the near completion of its restoration with a “renovation celebration.”
The package includes a night in one of the newly finished rooms, a $10 dining certificate for use in the hotel’s restaurant, Chaz on the Plaza, and valet parking. The cost is $99 a night, and $139 for a suite.
The offer is for Thursday through Sunday nights through Sept. 13. Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-821-5343, or at reservations.ihotelier.com. Additional packages may be viewed at raphaelkc.com. “Celebrate” is the package booking code.
The Raphael is in the final phase of a multi-year total renovation, with more than 90 percent of the project completed.
The Raphael has been named to Travel + Leisure’s 2009 list of World’s Best Hotels and the Expedia Insiders’ Select list of top hotels. The hotel is on the National Register of Historic Places.
