Shoji’s Theater Voted the Best Johns
The votes are in, the ballots have been tallied, and the finest restrooms in America are said to be in the Shoji Tabuchi Theatre at Branson, Missouri.
The balloting was conducted by the Cintas Corp. of Cincinnai, a leading provider of restroom hygiene products and services.
The 2009 contest attracted nominations from a wide cross-section of businesses, including restaurants, hotels and several theaters. Ten finalists were selected based on hygiene, style and access to the public.
Shoji’s johns were praised for their marble fireplaces, hand-carved mahogany pool table, antiques, lion’s head sinks, leather chairs, stained glass and chandeliers.
Second place went to the restrooms at the Tremont Plaza Hotel in Baltimore, Radio City Music Hall in New York City was third, Zeffirino Ristorante at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas was fourth and the restrooms at the Drake Hotel in Chicago came in fifth.

The men’s bathroom is amazing. The show is pretty good also!
It is nice to know that Missouri is first in something these days…
It has been more than 40-years since I was in Branson. The outhouses looked pretty good at that time.
Plan on going again very soon and I will make a point to visit to Shoji’s johns!
What are you talking about Stephen???? Missouri is also 1st in Meth Labs.
Missouri is also first in puppy mills.
See…..some people just don’t give the Show Me state enough credit for all it’s a leader in.
I’m just glad when any restroom has toilet paper, a purse hook, and a door on the stall that stays closed and locked.
xiaobian does your wife feel the same way?
