Forsberg to Avs, trade pressure mounts

With Colorado getting Peter Forsberg — just as Paul Stastny and Joe Sakic return — the Western Conference pictured changed. This is NOT good news for the Blues, since the Avs are in that fight for a playoff spot.

The Red Wings must be getting very eager to do something. They had their sights set on Mats Sundin, who elected invoke his no-trade clause. Ditto the Flyers, a team that really hoped to land Foppa.

Could they take a big run at Brad Richards now, since Mike Richards is sidelined by a torn leg muscle?
