Hustling on the forecheck, B.J. Crombeen drew a tripping penalty to give the Blues a power play and a chance to even the game.
Andy McDonald seemed to have that tying goal on his stick, but Roberto Luongo made a ludicrous right-pad save to deny him. The Blues have done some good things with the man advantage, but a catch a break they have not.
