Crombeen Hustles, Ties Game

The Blues checking line tied the game 3-3 by exploiting some Red Wings sloppiness.

Center Jay McClement stole the Blue at Detroit’s blue line, broke in on left wing and threw a sharp-angle shot on goal.

Red Wings goaltender Chris Osgood spit the puck up into the slot and B.J. Crombeen won the race to the it. He punched the rebound into the empty net before taking a high stick in a face — an apparent penalty that went uncalled.

Blues fans on hand started chanting “Os-Good, Os-Good” to rub it in.

What is that we said about the Red Wings not blowing 3-1 leads.
