Kariya Strikes Again, Blues Lead 4-3
It would seem Paul Kariya has his legs back.
When the Red Wings turned the puck over at the Blues blue line, the puck went back the other way. T.J. Oshie and Paul Kariya jumped on the opportunity.
Oshie got the puck first, the deferred to Kariya — who buried is the breakaway to give the Blues the edge after two periods.
Adding a healthy Kariya to an already skilled team changes this team. NOW it has the firepower to get in a skating game with the Red Wings and match them.
